Should've asked this question before leaving hospital but pain-killers left me on whacked-out another planet. Unable to contact doc today.
The bandage is very thick but under it is some sort of packet that contains liquid. You can hear the liquid "sloshing" around when walking. Is the liquid used to transfer to the swelling, the chill from the ice packs that are applied to the outside of the bandage?
In other words: 1) Ice, 2) bandage (to be removed in three days), 3) liquid in packet, 4) inflammatory swelling ...??
