  1. I just started road cycling in December. I ride pretty conistently about 3-4 times per week now. When I purchased my bike from a LBS they fit me to the bike and adjusted my seat, shortened the stem, adjusted the handlebars etc.

I am wondering if I need to get "re-fitted"? I feel like I want to be leaning forward a little more now than when I initially started. I also experience some numbness at times in my arms and I wonder if readjusting my setup will help alleviate this. Should I try getting a longer stem?

    Thanks for the help.

Mate, we all went through this and the best advice I got was to listen to what your body is telling you before listening to others. There are a million experts out there just waiting to share their knowledge on how to set up your bike for you. Trouble is, it's just like tapping a keg at a barbie. 500 expert keg tappers and you still finish up with a 6" head.
Start reading. There are countless websites giving good advice relating body pains to adjustments you can make. I had a lower back pain. I moved the saddle down 10mm and forward 10mm. Pain immediatly went.
    Best of luck.
