I want to buy clipless pedals and shoes, and I was reading several posting on the forums. There are some questions that I would appreciate if somebody can answer them.
1.- Several people have expressed that one problem with cleats on road bike shoes is the difficult to walk on them. As I understand the cleat is totaly covered on the MTB shoes, is it possible to use MTB shoes on the road bike with SPD pedals?
2.- Are MTB spd pedals exchangeable between the mountain bike and road bike?
3.- What is the difference between MTB and ATB pedals?
Thanks, Carolo :)

1. Is it possible to use MTB shoes on the road bike with SPD pedals?
1) Yes, as long as the pedal and shoe cleats are compatible.

2.- Are MTB spd pedals exchangeable between the mountain bike and road bike?
2) Yes, a pedal is a peal, be it for road bikes or MTBs.

3.- What is the difference between MTB and ATB pedals?
3) Just a definition. The use of ATB (all-terrain bike) has been surpassed by MTB (mountain bike).

Cheers!
