I've spent my entire life in a job I don't particulary like, but I've brought up 3 kids and paid all the costs of their education and the rest, we've had some great times and been on some great holidays. it doesn't bother me that I don't like my job, I see it as simply a means to an end. I can switch off and go through my working day, i don't have to like the job, I live in the real world not fluffy land.
As long as I can do what I enjoy outside of work I'm happy. We all have to do things we don't like doing. The question is, is anyone truely happy in their jobs, everyone gets fed up eventually. Lawyers must get sick of dealing with the same cases all the time, doctors of dealing with the same illnesses, I work in engineering and I'm bored with taking things apart and putting them back together.
I do it because I have to do it.
