race and train speeds

    hey i was just wondering what the difference was with your training speeds, compared to when you race

    I usually train around 21-22 mph on recovery days, 18-19 mph on long days ( 3 plus hours) and around 24 mph. on hard days ( Intervals= 27-30 mph, Recovery bettween intervals= 20 mph)


    Race speeds are usually around 25 for a road race and 27-29 for a crit.
