Looking for a cool, fun, epic race or event for 2016. I'd love to do a stage race but then there's the climbing..... I'm open to travel within the U.S. but have no idea what events are available. In a perfect world, it would be flat with awesome scenery. Could be a race, a ride, or a multi day race or ride. Thanks!

When I was active in my riding, I would ask around for fun tours. But most of those trips would involve climbing. Riders, particularly the serious cyclists, are not content with riding on flat roads. They say that an ascent is the flavor of the pedals so you have to include at least some mild ascents in your menu of the tour. That's the reason why I got used to climbing because I had to other choice when I join riding groups. But in fairness to them, it is boring to ride a long one on flat roads. I had also experienced that.

Not sure on your area in the US but I'm almost positive there will be an event where your riding around a racing circuit as that seems to be the latest all the rage thing.
They had one a couple years back at a circuit over here (UK) that was a 24hr endurance event but sadly I could not take part despite wanting to 🙁
