Race report: Charge Pond

First race of the year is done. Rode it with my new coach ... she says I am OK. I'll tell ya...I felt great ... could hold my position near the front with no difficulty and was under no duress at any time. Laps at 22-24 mph ... decent speed. I got a flat tire and had to stop ... but I had fun ... and found out what I wanted to find out ... I've got good legs (well, incrementally better than last year) ... I think this will be my best year on the bike yet!
