Rack for the Tailgate?

Any suggestions on a rack that fits ON the tailgate? I port my commuter down the road and commute from there each day. It feels that with panniers full with work clothes, lunch, etc there is a bit too much weight for a fork mount. I'm looking for something quick, easy, and works with a truck bed. I don't have a hitch mount and would prefer not to have to install one just to buy a rack. I've seen the "Tail-Gator" but I'm looking for other Ideas? Cost not a huge concern . . . need the right tool for the job!

I can't think of a good reason why many of the car/SUV trunk mount racks would not work on a truck's tailgate. Maybe someone else can chime in here. Of course, the tailgate might not be able to fully open (if at all) with the rack mounted.
