    ... completely misunderstands the point.

They take footage of Cadel throwing his bottle aside up the climb (at
the top of the mountain -- shoulda kept it for an extra 50g weight
advantage going down!), and says "he's angry with his team and the
other riders". Eh? Not from any of the soundbites you supplied. Not
in the post race interview. Dunno where they got that from.

The way I heard it he was complaining about the fact that he doesn't
have a full team supporting him the way Rasmussen does. Of course it is
Cadel so anything he says sounds like a whining 3 year old anyway. But
on SBS summary tonight, i missed the question but it sounded like chris
horner was asked something in relation to this because he in turn was
saying that Cadel was being supported. Given the support Horner gives
him, I'd reckon Horner would be a bit peeved if he thought Cadel was
    slagging the support he gets.

DaveB[/QUOTE]in context...he doesnt have a climbing train...doubt if he would have any negatives about Horner, but Chris cant do it all on his own.
They both need a few extra PL riders up front with them when they have to protect their team leader and help his fight with the contenders...if there wasnt Contador and Rassmussen it would be moot and he could probably do it alone, and be in Yellow...due to RMs successes PL made the choice to go with a 50 50 team... half to be lead out for Robbie and half to help Cadel, but only Horner is able to stay with Cadel until it points seriously skyward, plus Chris is the water carrier too and goes back to the team car for him at times, as the other PL riders have already been dropped.
Cadel said to Cycling News today they (PL) dont have the budget to have a climber up there with him to drag him up with the other trains, that wasnt directed at Horner, it was suggesting they both needed another rider with them who could do the job of a tow truck.

Cadel made a remark along the lines that a top support rider cost more
money than his team had. As you can imagine, Horner might take that as
    a backhander.
