It all depends on what your goals are. http://www.crossfit.com has
created a near-religion based on a different workout every day, but if
your goals is to improve your performance at specific lifts, then you
will, generally speaking, need to practice those lifts regularly. "It
seems to be working for me" doesn't say what you're trying to
accomplish. The danger is that you'll avoid those movements that could
help you the most.
Some people create a system of randomization, e.g., using dice or a deck
of cards to determine which exercises and/or how many from a specified
set. I like this approach better than simply "go by how you feel."
