  1. yeah, I just found that out, thanks.

I was just a little aggitated because some idiot called me a troll.

I mean, I don't care what people think of me, but by acting that way
towards new members to the list, I feel, is totally uncalled for.

I wouldn't do that to my worst enemy.

I mean, I know nothing about atkins, never said I did,
but I do know about SCD, and its nothing like atkins.

all I said was what my doctor told me, that atkins is not healthy
because all the excess protein is bad for the liver and kidneys. thats
what my doctor told me, so if you want to call anyone a 'troll' call my
doctor a troll then, not me.

but then, my doctor doesn't believe in SCD either,

either way there is no comparision. atkins is designed for weight loss,
SCD isn't. SCD is a diet specifically for illness prevention, its not
designed for weight loss, designed specifically for people suffering
with crohns, colitis, IBS, IBD, Attention defisite disorder, and may
    other types of illnesses.

SCD is about balancing the bacteria levels in the human body back to
normal levels. designed to "starve" the bad bacteria by exclusing
complex sugars and grains from the diet. and using acidophilus to
replenish the good bacteria back into the body so the balance is
restored, which then balances the TNF-A's back to normal and all that
wonderful stuff 🙂 See I'm not totally stupid.

Your doctor is wrong about both diets. Ask him to find even one single
medical citation in which normal kidneys were damaged by protein.

Some doctors treat this stuff like religion, rather than learning from a
patient's good results. Belief is for church, not for science.

And Atkins is specifically designed to reduce insulin resistance, which
means it's designed for diabetes, kidney protection (glucose, not
protein damages kidneys), antihypertensive, anti ovarian cysts, reduces
CVD risks. It also treats IBS and Crohns in many, without the
    limitations of SCD.

    Time will tell. ;-)
