exchange info. i use one about 6 mos out of the year at a second home where
there is no gym. it does a good job for me in that situation.
I have one and I feel that it is a valid way to put on some muscle, but
you can build a cheaper home gym with a rack and free weights which will
be better and cheaper in the long run. If I had my $1000 back I would
buy a cage, bench, and some weights. If I didn't have the room, I would
join a gym that had free weights. If I didn't have a gym near home and
lived in an apartment, I would buy the Bowflex or the flavor of the day
again.
Buying a bowflex is very much like getting satellite Internet IMHO.
Only buy one if that is your only option. It's not worthless, but it is
overpriced and limited in scope.
