I've only watched one show & was surprised at some of the bacterial numbers & the fact this kitchen was in the home of a doctor. She even let her kids up onto the counter with dirty feet!
I haven't killed anyone yet.
The oven gets cleaned when it sets off the smoke alarm.
The floor gets washed with bleach regularly...the dog likes to whizz on it.
I never see my countertops, as all my cooking gadgets & appliances cover them.
