Heck man, she couldn't be fuurther from it! ',;~}~

Freakin' fiiiiiine Stevie bwoy! Feeling fitter, less joint pains (esp. knees
have improved vastly), back pains have lessened, generally just healthier
(Look up Pycnogenol - Maritime pine bark extract. Can't believe how much
this has turned my health issues around in just a few weeks! There's a New
Zealand one that's comparable too).

Still need to get out on the big bike more, but I'm taking it easy still,
just been doing half commutes on the Frankenbeater for a few weeks so far,
see how my body takes to it.

Life is fun, went to a dance and percussion workshop day this Saturday and
had a fantastic time amongst damned fiiiine people, made friends with a
couple of the teachers, including the most awesomely impressive Howard, who
was teaching Cuban Street percussion. Heck, that guy did a whole gig _solo_,
and made it sound like a full street festival (playing 3 or 4 different
parts with his hands, and 1 or 2 with his left foot, simultaneously! 4
congas, foot pedal brake drum 'bell', 3 cowbells, and the sound ported
wooden box he was sat on. Hells, I couldn't even master the _Samba_ Clave
part alone!). Kath bought me a full sized Djembe there too, we spotted that
is just beautiful sounding. Looking forward to joining the Djembe class Kath
goes to, in August when the class becomes an open one again, after their
practice for an event is over.

Planning our summer right now, generally having a ball, and getting along
even better each day than the one before. Kath's been in the training for
her civil service job, and is enjoying it so far, starts the actual work in
a few weeks. Planted some chiles recently that have sprouted. Weather is
improving. Stuff just has that feel of heading the right way, yaknow?

So, how the hell's yerself then, Steve?!?

Heh, the two we brought in from the g/house to over-winter have flowered
repeatedly, but always dropped - bigger pots and back in the g/house, with a
good feed, they'll produce again, no worries (flowering heavily right now).
Plenty of light and warmth, Jon, along with good feed (tomato feed should be
fine), sure yours'll fruit then too.

LOL! I read that as "dance and concussion" at first. Didn't sound strange
coming from you, but I re-read it anyway.

Know that feeling - it's beginning over here.

Could be much worse. Apart from not riding much this past couple of months. I
never really got back into it last year after my diverticulitis "thang", and
this winter was just not good for riding here. Spring, however, is sprung, the
grass is ris, and I know where those birdies is....

Kids are all somewhere else, just the missus and me, so life is relaxing and
fun.

:) I was telling this story to a mate at work and I said "I clean and lube
it after every ride" and got a REALLY funny look from one of the girls in
the office before she started sniggering (sorry Bill)! One track mind I
think (or is that a singletrack mind?)

Heheh, I love when yer head makes entertainment like that for ya ',;~}~

Heh, I was sorta cringing a bit as I typed that, had a feeling I mighta been
inviting fate to play silly buggers. Had hell with the daughter last night,
after thinking things were going great now. She had to stay at her
grandparents in the end. Kath was inconsolable, and I got called some very
low-down and nasty things (you wouldn't believe what she said, trust me...),
in the street, in front of her friends and our neighbours.

So, tonight we gotta try and put the pieces all back together, and start
again, yet again. This is getting kinda old real bloody quick mate ;-(

Aye, been great having 'some' sunshine over here, and getting to see the
leaf buds sprout, the cherry blossoms bloom, the little furry
meatballs...uhm I mean lambs, frollicking, all **** like that. Yeah, love it

Heheh good for you Steve!

Just remember to be good, or if you can't be good, be careful, or if you
can't be careful, buy a pram.

Later!

Sounds like it. Yeuch! Well, everything is supposed to look better in the
morning, and if the grands have done their job, she'll be softened up for you
by now ;-)

I prefer the short form - "If you can't be good, be happy"

;-)

This morning was a sad affair, consisting of Kath and I, still stunned and
ripped up, crying alternately into our coffees. We are all kinds of weary
over this.

She's _always_ sorry afterward, but that less than worthless. I'm sick to
death of sorry. Sory can go f*ck itself.

Dn't know if she's coming back tonight or tomorrow. Don't know what TF to do
when she does get back. Sick to death of grounding her, and being
houselocked ourselves, not to mention having to put up with her angry,
moaning, whining, miserable attitude even more when she is.

We'll figure something out, or go mad trying. WTF, that's life!

Shaun aRe - 'pologies for the rant.

Know the feeling, unfortunately....

Ditto. Not that that helps at all. Sorry (Oops - sorry ....)

You'll figure it out. It always feels impossible, but it can always be done.
Maybe not immediately, but it can.

Ah, the joys of parenthood. ;-)

Pre-Zactly!

>Shaun aRe - 'pologies for the rant.

None needed. You jumped in the deep end, and sometimes ya gotta paddle like
sh!t to stay afloat. Nothing beats a good rant to get you settled enough to
start all over again. Luck to ya.

I know, funnily enough. I'm no kinds of quitter, and I don't feel it's
impossible.

Cheers mate. I'm not one to shy from a challenge.

Think about that Steve - we end up suffering more if we do.
