quoted reimbursement by Medicare of $207.84 per treatment...does not state what
if any is patient "portion" of said treatment...
also states 35 treatments is the norm
also states approx 7 million Americans could benefit from the
treatment(again..symptomatic relief of angina for those who are "poor
candidates for invasive intervention...or who have already had
intervention,,and still are symptomatic"
also states that company made 6 million bucks selling the machines..plus more
millions in leasing the machines...so reimbursement rates are NOT the only
dollar figure important here..
also states "benefits of therapy persist for about one year"
hmmmm....think I would try angioplasty or CABG first...
but that's only me...
