I'm in the USA. Specifically in Huntsville, Alabama. The cardiac doctors in the past have been very good about letting a patient have their time and answering the questions. Since they formes this coop or whatever they call it it is more like an assembly line with no stopping for things like questions. I can rarely even see the cardiologist of my choice. You just get whoever is next in line.

That is not the easiest thing to do. In order to pay for these doctor visits I must have a job and good health insurance. In order the keep these I have to be present. The closest place that would be a viable alternative is 100 miles away. Plus the fact that with all the cardiologists I have found you must be referred, you can't just call up and get an appointment.
With one of four bypasses closed down and being put on Imdur what are my options and future look like? I still have never figured out why angioplasty and stents have never been mentioned lately. The cardiologist I had just before my second bypass surgery had mentioned angioplasty right up until a surgeon walked into my room. The surgeon never considered anything except bypass.
