I personally would never like to see unicycling go mainstream. Not that
it would ruin the uniqueness of it but it would ruin the unicycling
atmosphere. Because at this point lets say your driving down the rode
and you see a unicyclist, you prolly would go, 'hey whoa theres another
rider im going to stop and talk to him/her.' Now lets compare this to a
mainstream sport. Your a skateboarder and your driving down the road and
you see another skateboarder, chances are you would not stop because
everyone skateboards.
I would only like to see uniycycling be recgonized as an extreme sport.
So people wont have all the clowns and circus comments.
Quoted message said:simply because you can't just pick up a unicycle and start riding it,
like you can with a skateboard, bike, or rollerblades.
Actually I think it takes quite a bit of practice to learn how to ride a
bike. So if kids start learning young then it has a high chance of
becoming mainstream. Since so many people will be able to do it.
