When setting up triple on a bike that previously had a double, what is the "preferred" alignment of the chain line ? Does the center of the rear cluster align with the center chainwheel as a preference or starting point ? Should you play with the crank axle beyond making sure the inner chainwheel clears ?
I think that the center chainring should be 45 mm from the center of the frame.
I think the center chainring should be in the center of the cassette, regardless of whether this makes it 45mm or something else.
