What about starting your day by having a bowl of Alpen sprinkled wit PSP22 powder + skimmed milk? I do, and it sets me up good for a ride Bacon sandwiches (with lots of HP sauce) are also good
For quick energy I prefer apples to bananas (got to be Cox apple though)
How come no-one has mentioned Galaxy bars - I heard all that chocolat was a good energy source :confused

Carbohydrate powder for making up energy drinks. You can add it to stuff like porridge or cereal if you really want to load carbs before some event.
There are other brands.
