I have no information about it. Following the nutritional/medical
journals to a degree I see frequent studies being done in India about the
plants used in traditional medicine to see if they have an effect and then
what substance can be isolated from the plant that is the active part.
If you do a search on google using "Horsegram india" or some such you
might find some useful information. While intresting, reports not
confirmed by formal research is not very useful in most aspects.
