I had to look up the hostel and the campus. It looks like the hostel is
fairly close to the Bristol-Bath path (take a look at the maps on the
Bristol YHA website), and the path also passes within about 1/2 mile of
the campus. Maybe I'll try typing some directions from the path to the
campus on Thursday (won't have time tomorrow). I'm going to bed now.
The path is reasonably mugger-free (muggings don't happen often,
anyway). But watch out around Devon Road bridge. There have been
problems with drug dealers there in the past, though I understand the
situation has improved since the council installed some fences to block
their escape routes.
