  1. I have seen consistent references in Indian ayurveda and Chinese
    medicine to dietary catalysts for good health, although many of these
    catalysts would seem stranger to Westerners. For instance, Indians
    generally believe pure cow ghee to be quite healthy, much healthier than
    vegetable oil.

    "science".

    All the food are considered medicine and devided into yin/yan. For
    example, beef is considered yan. While crab meat is consider yin. So
    you need ginger to balance it out when eating crab meat. Certain food
    should be consumed by cetain people in certain season. For example,
    sheep in good for a man in the winter time.

    Also, chinese are big on chewing your food longer and eat less.
