taking anti-seizure medications pleaded guilty Wednesday to a federal charge
filed after the patient died.Joanne M. Gallagher, 43, faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up
to $250,000 for a mail-fraud count for practicing medicine without a
license."She recognizes she went beyond what she was legally entitled to do in this
particular instance," said her attorney, Matthew R. Gover. "She's
extraordinarily remorseful for what has occurred to the (victim's) family

This patient died because they quit taking their medicine. This person's life
was sacrificed for the glory of his DC's belief system!
I hope that another Pennsylvania Chiro (Ass-Clown Atlas) will take note of
this. Atlas believes that the human body needs NO medicines to function
Optimally. I hope that he has enough training to understand that death is NOT
an state of optimum functioning and won't encourage his patient's to disobey
their Doctor's orders.
