I wasn't sure whether to get angry or laugh. Then I though of all the
other reviews in BA and elsewhere that talk of wheels that "just love to
climb" and the baloney often written about the magic powers of carbon
fibre -- the water claim is probably not all that much more ********.

Agreed.
Do Oxyshots advertise in BA (I wouldn't know as I'm not a regular reader)?
Why would BA give a potentially bad review or even ridicule a product when
it could lead to a loss of advertising dollars?

I have to admit to purchasing that copy of BA. But the Oxyshot article was the last straw - never again.
