I just got back from the South Garland Graduation at the Special Events
Center. That's a pretty good area for unicycling- a lot of nice smooth
pavement! We had to be there an hour early, so I took my unicycle and
rode for 45 minutes.
I've walked a lot out at Rowlett Creek Preserve, and ridden a bicycle
around there one time. What I remember about riding the bike there was
bouncing over ten million roots. It's mostly level, no problem there,
but a pogo stick would work about as well with the roots. Although
some of those trails out in the open would probably work better.
What is the horse trail like, btw?
I'm mostly a pavement guy. I assume I could ride something like
Rowlett Creek (omitting the few dips) with a couple of weeks of
practice. That might be an idea to work on, come to think of it. But
I've only ridden on grass a very few times, and it was dragging a
sandbag behind me.
Firewheel Town Center might be a good place for general riding as well.
