I get back to this after I get my newsletter out and pack for Vt. No end
to this retired volunteer stuff. 😉
No problem. I knew you had VT coming up.
Yea, I was helping with a 7th grade trail work day this morning and
early afternoon (and will tomorrow also). They were doing some
improvements on an overlook and adding a 70-yd section of trail to
complete a loop, rather than having people finish up on road. I
*thought* I was helping, then discovered that each adult had a station,
so I was the only one teaching trail building. Fortunately they only
gave me a crew of 5. There were 2 busloads - about 100 students. I might
go to Anchorage on Saturday for a National Public Lands work day at a
science center that I've been meaning to visit for several years and
never seem to get there - and then again, I may not want to drive to
Anchorage.

Ya dun good!!!!!!
Thanks. I thought I left my race on an earlier training run, but didn't
do too badly after all. And definitely had fun. New footing challenges.
Need to put some winter plans together next.
