I'm always eager to find new technology to take the blame for my bad
proofreading and worse writing, so here goes nothing!

The groups-beta.google.com does seem to have fresher posts than the
traditional google groups, but it failed to expand posts as a tree,
despite its promise, and helpfully expanded my mistaken attempt to log
in as carlfogel by adding some odd default "@gnews.com" trash.

Let's see where this all ends up, top or bottom posting. There's a
preview button, but that would be the coward's way out.
