Sunflowere oil has too much in the way of PUFAs and Omega 6 fats, and not a significant amount of MUFAs and or of omega 3s. Better avoided!"
As the man says, it ain't one thing that makes sense, and it ain't oil that is the question and because sunflower kernels work so well means it is not the ratio of the oils alone either but something about the total package.

As the man says, it ain't one thing that makes sense, and it ain't oil that is the question and because sunflower kernels work so well means it is not the ratio of the oils alone either but something about the total package.
I have yet to see any evidence that "sunflower kernels work so well". That is not what this study found. They simply measured the phytosterols, and found that they were high in sunflower seeds......not that sunflower seeds were good for your health.
