I was riding home tonight and in a driveway on one of the backstreets that
    I
go up I saw a brand new shiny black Lexus that was "gift wrapped" with an
    oversized golden ribbon and bow.

Wonder if it was some guy's present to his mrs after she caught him shaggin
someone else? Always more to a story than first meets the eye 🙂...

    cheers,

Of course there's always the story about a mate of a mate who bought an almost new Landcruiser out of the trading post for $50 instead of $50,000. Saw it advertised, thought it was a typo but still rang up. Was told it was in fact $50 as "it belongs to my lying cheating husband but he put it in my name to hide his assets. Now I've caught him rooting the woman down the street for the second time, I'm selling it for $50 to teach the [censored] a lesson".

    A good story but....

this time a true story - My parents bought a nice house in suburbanBrisbane years ago at less than market price as the vendor (husband) had been caught playing up with another woman in the street and a condition of the wife taking him back was that they sold up the house and moved away immediately.

And did the salesman take your dad aside to give him the lady's address?
Gotta be good for his business. :-)

  4. Reminds me of the classic joke about the man and wife who settled after
their divorce, splitting the house 50:50. She got the inside, he got the
    outside!
