Re: What do you consider 'hard-core'?

I totally agree with andrew and several other posts, it's really as hard
as you want to make it. There are some trails that I ride that are
walks in the park (actually most of them are in the park across from my
highschool) then there are the triple black diamonds that me and some
biker friends thought it would be smart to hike up in order to ride
down at Hartland Dump. Hartland's rating scale is skewed compared to
most for-profit mountain bike parks so a triple black is easier there
than Whistler but we still kicked ourselves in the pants! I'd say that
was, for my level of unicycle riding, both hard and hard-core. I think
most freestyle is pretty hard and i also think that alot of trials can
be hardcore if you make it so. Really though it's all in the eye of the
beholder.
