One of those might be an alternative for my.. uh.. sprinter's
butt :) They're wider than standard Flite, yeah?

I bought one but it doesn't fit me. It's not too bad, I tried it for a week,
moved it around to try and find the sweet spot but after about 80km I just
couldn't stay comfortable. The cutout seems to work though. Also got a older
Trimatic that's even worse that I call the "ass-hatchet" :) Gone back to the
el-cheapo specialized till I find something better. I've read all the theory
but I just seem to need a bit more padding under the sit bones.

If anyone is interested in either (try them out if you're in brisbane) let
me know. I was thinking of trying a san marco rolls.

Hmmm, eying off my saddle... As long as that was all you were doing.

It's a Selle Italia SLR Carbon with Ti Rails. Next to no padding and really
comfy. It's never given me any chafe which is a pleasant change from the
previously mounted Selle Italia Trimatic2 Gel. The Trimatic will probably
be the last Gel saddle I will ever own. I have never had as many cases of
chafe as I did with this one. Previous to this Gel Trimatic2 I had a
Non-gel Trimatic2. This one was not too bad at all and is still in service,
mounted on my track bike (Until I get hold of an SLR for that too) . I also
have ridden a Selle Italia XO, a fairly narrow saddle similar in shape to
the SLR, and found it to be quite a good saddle for its price point.

It doesn't hurt to experiment with other shapes of saddle to see if there's
something that fits better. But if your bum likes the Rolls then stick with
it. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
