Interesting question. My oldest too bikes have hardly any original
equipment, read about the tourer here
http://www.mseries.freeserve.co.uk/ click My Touring Bike. It now has a
really funky front lamp mount made from a water bottle cage mounting
bracket and a pump. Low Riders come and go as do lights and saddle bag.
The Peougeot has the original handlebars, brake levers.
The Merckx was not bought as a complete bike but only the pedals, bar
tape and chainset have changed since I completed it.
Things get added and removed all the time as I need different equipment
for different rides.
