My rear mech hanger recently snapped sending the derailleur into the back wheel and pretty much ruining it 😠 . I was wondering if Shimano M580 Deore LX rear derailleur would be compatible with SRAM SX4 trigger shifters? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No, you need a SRAM rear derailleur with the 1:1 actuation ratio. THE SX4 will work with Shimano front MTB derailleurs.
