Rear racks

I would appreciate recommendations for a substantial rear rack. I've looked at a lot online and in person, and they seem to be much of a muchness.
I'm looking for something rock solid, that extends as far back as practical.

Ideas?

As a touring cyclist as well as a commuter I am a big fan of Tubus racks. Light and very strong. On my Surly Long Haul Trucker I have a Tubus Cargo Expedition but there are lighter options. My front rack is a Tubus Tara. Andrew

Yep ... I guess you are not familiar with Brooks Saddles ... BTW rode around 3,000 kilometres on that ride with that saddle :) Andrew

Aushiker's bars appear to be higher than the nose of his Brooks. Bolt upright position.
