This thing looks pretty cool, no more futzing with mirrors! It’s a small wide angle camera and a micro display that mounts to the back and front of any headgear.

What do you guys think?

I think it'd be interesting to know your relationship with the company.

My brother is one of the co-inventors. I have no financial stake in the project. Just helping get the word out. My brother loves motorcycles and his partner is an avid cyclist. They've been engineering/field-testing the ilook360 for the past year and a half. I've used one of the prototypes and it is pretty cool.

They recently posted a new video showing what the experience is like, check it out at the links below.

I really could care less. Why didn't you just own up about your connection to the product and admit you were a shill?

Would that be a "could care less" or a "couldn't care less..." the former insinuates that you at least care somewhat.

But as for the gizmo in question it's technology that offers more complexity but no advantage over the cheap low-tech solution. Let's strap on a battery and a camera and then stick a screen somewhere instead of a featherweight mirror that costs many times less and never runs out of juice.

I could care an infinitesimally smaller amount, but it would take an infinite amount of energy to do so.

Hi Drew, thank you for informing this forum of your brothers product. Hopefully this thread won't get deleted and others will get a chance to read about it.

Hopefully, also, they will provide some insightful feedback as swampy1970 has done ... thanks

I'm with Swampy on this. Just throw on a cheap sunglass/eyeglass mirror. They work great!

I will say it is a big step up from a mirror. Both in cost and in quality.

But I don't even use a mirror.

I had a crash on the bike path last season. When my head hit the pavement I remember thinking... "this same helmet is now on sale at the LBS". I am too cheap [or is it poor] to even buy the really good sunglasses.
