In my teenage years to my early 20's I was a very keen cyclist, my father luckily for me had to have all the latest gadgets used them once then forgot about them, one of his purchases was a very nice racing bike for over £1000 which after he never used it i confiscated it from him.

anyways, I havent been road cycling for several years and TBH I'm pretty confused with all the specs on bikes, especially as I'm limited by an extremely small budget as we've just had a baby I have very little money to go on a bike. I won't be getting anything nearly as good as my old bike.. my budget is about £180 lol about $340ish

OK firstly I have a 30/31 inch inside leg and am 6ft tall, what size frame should I aim for?

secondly as I say I have a tinnnny budget and have found very few road/racing bikes that fit in this budget... these are all I have found... any advice on which sounds best.. if best is a word that could be used with any of these bikes.. lol.. or if anyone knows of some extremely cheap road bikes in the UK :D

i realise these are all pretty ****.. but extremely low budget and this is about as good as i can find.. I'm not going to be doing any serious road racing but I imagine I will be cycling 20-40 miles at a time. Road use only busy urban/semi urban roads... I'm not really to bothered about the weight of the bike, as it if for fitness purposes only I won't be going for any speed records lol ( so not too bothered if steel or ali.. and carbon wont be happening on my budget :p

There's been quite a few questions like this popping up lately. And they nearly always get the same response. You're better off looking at something second-hand. You can get a bike for your budget that might have cost two or three times that when it was new.
