rebuild to peak

    Does anyone have a general formula (types of training rides) to rebuild to peak a second time? I have about three weeks until next big race.:confused:

    With three weeks to go you need to get some rest. Generally, maintain the speed you have but cut down on volume. Don't reduce intensity and keep volume the same. Peaking is a delicate artform.

    Most racers need a lot more rest than they think. Often racers find themselves flying after being forced to take time off the bike for several days due to work, family, or whatever.
