Recommendation for a wide shoe

Hi all,

I am finally going to break down & get some proper shoes. The problem
is that I have a wide foot. 9EE American. Everywhere I have looked,
they are D's. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer that makes a wide
shoe, or one that is cut wide?

Lake makes an EE size and Sidi makes a "Mega" wide series.

Thanks. I found the reference for the extra width at the Sidi site, but
nothing at the Lake site.

I know most riders are thin, but their feet too? Anyways, I'll try to
find a store in my area that carries Sidi.

Only certain models of Lake shoes come in the EE width. This year it
was the MX230 for the Mountain racing shoes.

You may want to try on the Lakes as well. Even though both companies
produce a EE width shoe, each company uses there own lasts. That is to
say not all EE shoes are the same.

I'm an 8.5 EEE, I have SIDI Megas for road and mountain. Start at about
$230 USD, but worth the $$$.
