Do a Yahoo search and be sure to spell it "recumbent"

For billions of replies, post in alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent.

There are a number of brands that are sold in local shops, especially in big cities. These include
Vision and Rans. I only know dealers in Chicago; post your city in alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent and
somebody there will probably tell you the name of a local recumbent dealer, if there is one.

There are an number which are sold direct from the builder; this works best if you are somewhere
near the guy (or another owner) so you can see what you are buying. You can tell this from the web
site of the manufacturer. http://www.easyracers.com/about.htm is the site for Gardiner Martin's Tour
Easy and related models; he's been direct-to-consumer for a long time, although I think there are
    some at dealers now.

There are also shops that have a mail-order business in these bikes, e.g.

There are dozens of brands and at least 100 different models to choose from. Here are some great
    starting points:

    http://www.recumbents.com/

    http://www.hostelshoppe.com/

    http://thebikerack.com/

    http://www.ransbikes.com/

    http://www.visionbikes.com/

    http://www.foolscrow.com/

    http://www.bentrideronline.com/

There are hundreds of recumbent websites out there. These URL's should get you started in the
    right direction

    Happy Hunting,

For something a little different, Green Gear makes a top notch folding recumbent called the
    Sat R Day.
