Red Bull Road Rage Race Report

For those who missed the red bull road rage (http://www.redbullroadrage.com), it was awesome. Speed traps speeds were in 58mph+ range. A couple of good wipe outs took out a few riders. The mountain bikers had their day in the end, with Miles Rockwell (former world champ) taking the win.

There was talk of this becoming a series next year. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

It would only be interesting if the spectators could see the majority of the course. You know America, always looking for the next fight or crash. I don't see too many pro roadies getting involved in such mayhem. Their directors would have a fit.
 
They almost had Paulo Salvodelli this year, but he had another obligation. The organizer said he expects to have him next year. Agreed though, seems like a big risk for someone in the middle of a successful racing career.
