Got to take out the cups from American-style BB. Know what proper tool I
should use (something like Park headset cup remover but bigger) beside a
mallet and a handlebar? TIA.

mallet and a handlebar? TIA.Back when I was working in a Schwinn shop, we used a large screwdriver
that had its tip ground off to form a 1/2" wide square punch. All you
really need is something to hammer on the back side of the cup. Working
from the inside, give the cup a couple whacks on one side, then the
other. Even good, tight cups will pop out after a couple good hits.Jeff
