  1. I scratched my Brake Levers which I am sure many of you have done, I looked at the price of replacing these things, and shimano parts seem very steep when buying individually. Could I paint these? The levers can be taken out by itself correct?

  2. You probably don't need to take the lever off. If the levers are silver, just wet sand the scratches with some 300 grit sand paper. If you have the black ones, sand off the scratch and use some automotive touch up paint. Not perfect looking, but you won't be able to feel it while you're riding.

  3. I think I might as well repaint them to make them look like black colour DuraAce. 😉

Hahaha yea i feel your pain... i scratched mine last weekend while i was using the aero bars.. someone came up from behind and i got a bit of a shock and lost control... almost got impaled by those waist high pillar barrier things.

Lucky the scratch isn't so bad... but still...🙁
