Replacing bushings (bushes? reducers?) on rear coilover shock - how?

Title says most. I have a Rock Shox Deluxe rear shock on
my bike (6.5" i2i, 1.5" stroke) and wanted to replace it
with this here Fox Vanilla (same i2i, stroke). Now, the
bushings are different sizes, so I wanted to transfer the
ones from the Rock Shox to the Fox. Is there an easy way
to get them out and in? Are they screw-in? Are they just
kind of hammered in? What's the best way to yank them out
and then slam the new ones in without breaking everything
(including myself)?

I can throw up some pictures if anyone's confused and thinks
it would help any.
