I am looking for a recipe for the sweet and sour sauce you get at all
the chinese restaurants. My kids love the stuff and if I put just a
little on vegitables they eat them without complaint. I have scoured
the internet looking for something and can't find anything that is a
match. There must me some recipe out there since all the restaurants
have the same stuff. This is red in color and slightly thick. Any
help would be appreciated. Even better send me an email. Thanks.

This is a very large dessert, enough for 2 or 3 people. I shared one with
my
husband and grown son and still couldn't eat all of my portion. It has a
delicious pecan struesel topping and is served with vanilla ice cream. It
is
very sweet, and I would probably use less sugar. I would love to be able
to
make something close to this wonderful dessert.
