Texas Style Barbecue Ribs using large/giant pearl tapioca Grandma's Cinnamon Kuchen Roll

Subject: using large/giant pearl tapioca
I would like a pudding recipe for the large or giant tapioca pearls. I've gone to Arielle's site for
rec.food.recipes archives (Stephanie Da Silva)but the site lacks a category for desserts. I can
bring up the recipes in search but there are no links. All I can find out here and there is that
they need to be soaked overnight. One recipe said they had to be cooked 12 hours!!!! Go to a search
engine and all you get are the bubble tea tapiocas. So I came here, which is obviously what I should
have done in the first place.

Anyone have a recipe for something like this? My german grandmother made a fantastic cinnamon coffee
cake that she called kuchen(I know this can mean almost anything, cakewise). I remember helping her
bake it when I was a child. She would make the dough, and let it rise twice(my mother informed me of
this), then we would flatten it,spread a cinnamon sugar mixture onto it and then roll it. She would
then bake it on a flat pan. That is all I remember, and my mother said that grandma didn't have a
recipe(of course), and mom could never reproduce it. I just remember how fantastic it was with just
a little butter spread on the slices. To satisfy some great tasting memories any help would be
appreciated!
