Respoking an MA-2 rim

After 7 years I'd be measuring the braking surface very carefully to
assess whether it's worth it.

I don't believe the rust is anything to worry about. It's a slight
galvanizing failure.

Any MAVIC rim that _doesn't_ rust around the eyelets is a counterfeit,
probably made in asia ... expect no ill effects ...

Those pesky Asian repros! So often better (no rust, in this case) than
the "original".

rust??? omg, the ma2 myth is exploded! horror!

seriously though, as stated by others, check for condition. especially
flat spots - ma2's are prone to this.
