  1. I've decided to get up to the Lake District at the end of
this month after a rather disastrous first trip there 7
years ago and I'd appreciate your advice on where to walk...
please? I'll be in the area for about 4 full days.

From experience I know I'm not too strong at climbs but I do
want to do some of the 'classic' hills and routes such as
the Fairfield Horseshoe (a definite one dayer). What other
    similar routes are there?

Am also looking at spending one day on getting up Scafell
Pike and nearby tops, what's the easiest side to walk up?

    thanks, Nick
