Hello, steel buffs! I am thinking about a lugged frame, made of Reynolds' new 953. Anyone around with personal experience? Is that a good idea by means of stiffness and weight or would it be counterproductive to have 953 lugged? And if so, would it improve things to take the stronger tubes out of the 953 range, as there is a TT 31.75 mm and a DT 36.4 mm available. What do you know about 953 frames in general? Any experience? Thanks for all advice.
This is, what it could be like in the end. I have painted this 'masterplan' myself with the help of Photoshop. So don't get me scalped, if it isn't as tidy as it could be!!
