Hi, anyone cycled in the Calla Bona/Calla Millor area on the east coast of
Mallorca. We wondered what the terrain was like for shortish (25 to 30
miles) half day rides. We will be using our Bromptons (limited gearing) so
looking for mainly flattish terrain.
TIA

yes, 2 months ago; there is a hire shop in the middle of Cala Bona,
very cheap and loads of road bikes if you want to go further afield (be
warned up to the Northern mountains is about 150k round trip but well
worth it)
Locally the best rides are North to Cala Ratjada or Arta, or South to
Porto Cristo. The Manacor road is flattish but fairly dull. have fun.

Lots of nice routes, mostely not too hilly. The ride to Arta is nice, with
a bit of a hill. You'll not get as far as the main mountains on Bromptons
but you might fancy doing the climb up to San Salvador (maybe get a bus along
the coast for the first bit?)
