Very cool finished product. I liked the photos showing the RS cut-out
process. The photos show what is involved in bringing a
product to market. BTW where was the CNC machine??

I want to build frames some day, maybe I can use your lugs and BB when I get
that good.

i am not sure where the cnc machine is, but all the
work is initially done at my workbench in connecticut
and reproduced by the casting house in taichung.
there are quite a few steps not shown; my handmade
piece is transformed to cad cam drawings, a 3D image
using solidworks is also sent via email, a part is cast,
it gets revised...
sooner or later it all works!!

This is really cool! I'm not a framebuilder, but it's very interesting
to see how the piece is made from scratch. Two things I particularly
liked noticing are that the stylized "RS" cutout looks the same whether
one looks at the shell from the bottom or from the top, through the ST
port, and that the little hemispherical shift cable guides can also
serve as little legs when one sets the frame on the ground (sans wheels).

I presume that a skilled builder could braze a threaded fender mounting
eyelet on the brace that serves as a chainstay bridge, correct?
